  • 1 ripe avocado (sliced)

  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise or butter
  • 1 teaspoon mustard (optional)
  • Lettuce and tomato (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  2. Spread mayonnaise or butter on one side of each bread slice.
  3. Assemble the sandwich by layering chicken, avocado slices, cheese, and optional lettuce or tomato between the bread (buttered sides facing out).
