Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 8 oz egg noodles, cooked

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
  • Sauté onions and garlic in the same skillet until softened. Add mushrooms and cook until tender.
  • Sprinkle flour over the vegetables and stir well. Gradually add beef broth, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
  • Stir in Worcestershire sauce, sour cream, and cooked ground beef. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Serve over cooked egg noodles. Garnish with parsley if desired.
