Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup sriracha sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook for 6-7 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add garlic and ginger (if using) and sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Add honey, sriracha, soy sauce, and rice vinegar to the skillet. Stir and cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes, spooning the sauce over the chicken.
  6. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of sriracha based on your preferred spice level.
  • Serve with steamed rice, quinoa, or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the sauce for 30 minutes before cooking.
