  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb Italian sausage (casings removed)
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 pre-made pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef, sausage, onion, and garlic until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in marinara sauce, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Let it cool slightly.
  4. In a bowl, mix mozzarella, Parmesan, and beaten eggs. Combine this with the meat mixture.
  5. Roll out the pie crust and place it in a pie pan.
  6. Fill the crust with the meat and cheese mixture.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let it cool slightly before serving.
