  • 1 ½ lb salmon, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
  • 2 teaspoons chopped chives

Instructions

  • In a bowl, season the salmon cubes with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the salmon and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the salmon and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Stir in the soy sauce, rice vinegar, and honey, cooking until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Return the salmon to the skillet, tossing to coat the salmon with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped chives before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
  • This recipe can also be prepared using an air fryer for a crispy texture.
