Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (sliced)
  • 8 oz noodles (spaghetti or rice noodles)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch (mixed with 2 tbsp water)
  • 2 green onions (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

 

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
  • Remove chicken and set aside. In the same pot, add sesame oil and garlic, cooking until fragrant.
  • Stir in honey, soy sauce, chicken broth, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer.
  • Add noodles and let them cook in the sauce, stirring occasionally.
  • Return the chicken to the pot and mix well. Stir in the cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce.
  • Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce coats the noodles and chicken.

 

  • Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve warm.
