Ingredients

  • 3 pound chuck roast
  • 2 cups BBQ sauce
  • 1 pound bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • ½ onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 4 oz can diced jalapenos
  • Sliced Colby Jack cheese
  • 6 buns
  • Crispy fried onions

Instructions

  • Add the chuck roast to the slow cooker.
  • In a bowl, mix BBQ sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and brown sugar. Pour over the roast.
  • Add sliced onions and diced jalapenos to the slow cooker.
  • Cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender.
  • Shred the roast with two forks, then stir in the cooked bacon.
  • Serve on buns topped with Colby Jack cheese and crispy fried onions.

Notes
