Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Optional: additional ketchup or barbecue sauce for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a loaf pan or baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, breadcrumbs, ketchup, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until fully incorporated.
  3. Transfer the mixture into the prepared loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
  4. Optional: Spread a thin layer of ketchup or barbecue sauce over the top for extra flavor.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  6. Let the meatloaf rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce to the mixture.
  • You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for ground beef if desired.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a fresh side salad for a complete meal.
