  • 16 oz linguini (or fettucini, spaghetti, bucatini, etc.)
  • ¼ cup butter, softened (for greasing the casserole dish)
  • 1 rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • Tetrazzini Sauce Base
    • 2 (10.5 oz) cans cream of chicken condensed soup
    • 1 block cream cheese, softened
    • 5 garlic cloves, minced
    • 1 cup sour cream
    • 1.5 cups chicken broth
    • 1 tsp dried parsley (+ more for topping)
    • ½ tsp pepper
    • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Grease a large casserole dish with softened butter.
  • In a large bowl, mix the Tetrazzini sauce base: whisk together the cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, sour cream, garlic, chicken broth, dried parsley, pepper, and Italian seasoning until smooth.
  • Stir the shredded rotisserie chicken into the sauce.
  • Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce until evenly coated.
  • Transfer the pasta and sauce mixture to the greased casserole dish.
  • Sprinkle the mozzarella, cheddar, and parmesan cheese over the top.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Garnish with additional dried parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can substitute linguini with other long pasta varieties like spaghetti, fettucini, or bucatini.
  • Feel free to add vegetables like mushrooms or peas for extra flavor and nutrition.
