This easy Hamburger Stroganoff recipe features tender ground beef, rich sour cream, and hearty mushrooms for the ultimate comforting dinner.

  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 8 oz egg noodles, cooked
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
  • Add diced onion, mushrooms, and garlic. Cook until vegetables are soft.
  • Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually add beef broth while stirring to avoid lumps.
  • Simmer for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Lower heat and stir in sour cream and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Add cooked egg noodles and mix well. Garnish with parsley if desired. Serve hot.
